Nuclear Power - Hiring the right people in a clean target driven environment

Johnson Knight has specific expertise recruiting senior level staff for the Nuclear sector, which has been encouraged in response to the imminent need in the UK for new Nuclear Power Stations and for the decommissioning of existing Nuclear sites. In 2009 the UK has 19 reactors generating up to one fifth of its electricity and all but one of these will be retired by 2023. The first of some 16 GWe of new-generation plants are expected to be on line about 2017.

With additional expertise gained in France and China Johnson Knight are able to source key senior personnel for this ever growing sector and also to provide global redeployment of talent in an ever developing international market of talent.

A target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 was announced by many of the leading world governments in October 2008. Clearly to achieve these figures Nuclear Energy will play a critical role in this.
